Meeting information
Board meetings are open to members, except during executive sessions. These sessions are used for deliberations that need to be conducted in confidence. Executive sessions are only used when necessary.
Members can also attend committee meetings including Governance Committee, Finance Committee, Advocacy Committee or Professional Development Committee.
Please contact ARNM at info@arnm.ca if you would like to attend a Board or committee meeting.
Board meetings occur monthly on the third Wednesday of the month.
Speaking at a meeting
Generally, only Board Directors and certain staff are involved in discussions at Board meetings. If you have an issue or opportunity you would like to bring to the Board, please email info@arnm.ca to make arrangements.
Considerations during Board meetings
Board meetings are held virtually. The goal of each meeting is to address the items on the agenda in a timely, respectful and orderly manner.

About the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is collectively accountable to the members. They are responsible for the Association's performance in relation to its mission and strategic objectives, and for the effective stewardship of financial and human resources.
The Board of Directors is comprised of twelve members including 10 nurses and two public representatives.
