Nina is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in various healthcare settings. Nina is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where she completed her Bachelor and Master of Nursing degrees. She has also subsequently completed her certification as a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Misericordia Health Centre, Nina is committed to supporting innovative nursing care and clinical operations with the exceptional teams at Misericordia. She has engaged with several non-profit boards in both long-term care and seniors’ housing sectors. These experiences have enriched her skills and knowledge of board governance, roles, and accountabilities. Nina believes that the profession of nursing plays a key role in providing a collaborative voice at the table of health planning and transformation.
