Ken Borce
RN MBA President
Ken is a Registered Nurse and a leader in healthcare and the public sector. Currently serving as the Chief of Clinical Operations of CancerCare Manitoba, he is dedicated to delivering exceptional cancer services to Manitobans by focusing on clinical and operational excellence. As a civilian commander with the Winnipeg Police Service, he led the emergency communications and digital communication systems portfolio. Prior to his work with the Winnipeg Police Service, he held several leadership roles in healthcare, including managing and leading critical care, long-term care, and personal care programs. Ken is an internationally educated nurse. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. Ken is passionate about delivering the highest quality and most sustainable care to Manitobans by promoting excellence in and growth of professional nursing practice, education, leadership, and research. He believes that the overall advancement of the nursing profession can be achieved through meaningful consultation, collaboration, and communication with our fellow nurses and other healthcare colleagues.
