Did you know many universities allow alumni to access
library resources even after graduating?
Although alumni access to library resources is typically limited, we have included multiple options to access resources below.
Nurses in the WRHA have access through the following: https://libguides.lib.umanitoba.ca/wrha.
Association members may have access to resources through MyCNA formerly NurseOne at: https://mycna.ca.
University of Manitoba Alumni may apply to access the University of Manitoba library. However, access is limited.

Any Master’s prepared nurse can apply to the College of Nursing for a nil-appointment academic which will provide full access to the University of Manitoba’s library resources (a great addition to one’s CV).

e.g. of expectations: offer to provide a guest lecture to students on a topic, mentor a graduate student in their Integrative Focus Course, serve on 1 College of Nursing committee
If you are not a University of Manitoba grad, your home university may provide library access as an alumna.
