It’s time for us to recognize the power and take pride in what we are: nurses.
On April 8, 2020 you are invited to find your position of power, pride and leadership by joining your community of nurses for I AM A NURSE Day – a collection of provoking, interactive conversations with nurse leaders and compelling Manitoba nursing professionals that will empower you as a nurse and inspire you to consider what is possible on your path forward.
We need to eliminate the 'just' and replace it with I AM A NURSE.
This day will reconnect you with why you decided to become a nurse in the first place and rekindle your pride and your commitment to your chosen profession.
This day will remind you that the design of your own unique nursing career is up to you.
This day will elevate your idea of what is possible within the industry and inspire you to start putting your big ideas out there.
It’s time for us to lead our profession into the future stronger and healthier than ever before.
Are you located outside of driving distance of Winnipeg, but still want to participate? Consider hosting a I AM just A NURSE Day satellite site where we’ll connect to you by Zoom video conferencing.
The Annual General Meeting will take place during the lunch hour of the professional development day. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn how the Association is working as the professional voice of registered nurses and hear resolutions put forward by members. Registration for both will open next week.
