Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba emerging leaders lead the way for Pride Rally & Parade

Winnipeg, May 31, 2019

The Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (Association) Emerging Leaders Network will carry the Association banner for the first time in the 2019 Pride Winnipeg Rally & Parade on Sunday, June 2.

The Association’s Emerging Leaders Network is a unique space built for nursing students, new graduates and early career nurses where they can connect, support and inspire one another as they flourish professionally and develop as leaders.

“Supporting diversity has been a priority for the Association since our inception three years ago,” says Mary Smith, executive director. “We’re proud to have our young nurses leading the way and showcasing our support for the LBGTTQ* community by taking part in such a fun event.”

All Association members and their family and friends are welcome to join in and walk under our banner. We will meet at 10 am in front of the Manitoba Legislature near the Statue of Queen Victoria.
