Expedited temporary registration process for former registrants of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba is offering expedited registration of former Manitoba registrants who left the register in good standing. Former registrants who choose to apply via this process will need to be able to demonstrate they can meet currency of practice requirements.

The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba has worked with colleagues in government and has received a ministerial order allowing the College to expedite registration of former Manitoba registrants who left the register in good standing. Former registrants who choose to apply via this process will need to be able to demonstrate they can meet currency of practice requirements.

The Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS®) is a not-for-profit society that offers legal advice, risk-management services, legal assistance and professional liability protection related to nursing practice in Canada to more than 135,000 eligible nurses. All registered nurses in Manitoba are required to have CNPS professional liability protection to obtain their certificate of practice.
